the bmc is cotton gause mate thats why i went for it:D

Its actually off a 106 of some sorts but the connections are the same. Will report back soon.

the 106 bmc is alot smaller then the 1.8t kit my mates got one on his 106 gti and its tiny compared to mine

I think it might be a universal one of some sort possibly?

You think it could hinder the performance of the filter if it is from another car?

The dims of mine are... width130xlength185 .

just had a look at the BMC website and it says the one for the cupra has a 80mm connection, which is wrong, should be 70mm, is that why you went for the Samco reducer?
