BMW 645 - Thought they would be fast ??

Pulled up next to a shiny new BMW 645i convertible in town today. Now i dont like the look of them but it had amazing shiny deep dish alloys which actually looked really nice..

Lol anyway we both floored it away from the lights.. Without meaning to i sat there wheelspinning for a few seconds in first but when into 2nd i caught him pretty easily and then in third started to pull away quite convincingly.

How much are these things ? Arent they like mega expensive ? I know its a heavy comfortable cruising car but would have expected it to be quite quick..

Anyway made me smile for a while

and of course this was all on a private road and no speed limits were broken

I think the weight will play a massive part in this as well

anyone know what the bhp/tonne is of the BMW?

that would be why then, a well sorted Ibiza will stick with it...untill higher speeds perhaps
