It looks like Seat has bumped Cupra's price by 500 pounds from 1st of June.Curiously the FR's price is the same as before and it is now 1500 pounds cheaper.
The forthcoming A1 will be very expensive indeed;the S-line 1.4 TFSI(122) will cost more than 18k and that's before any extras such as leather,sat-nav,climatronic,cruise control,etc.,so imagine its price fully loaded!And apparently the S1 will cost 28-29 000 euros in Europe and maybe 25 000 pounds in UK
For this premium you will get nicer interior with aluminium trim(not standard on all A1s though),better switchgear and more toys in the options list,as well as stop-start and brake regen as standard features on all A1s.
I guess that Audi hopes that Mini's ubiquity in the premium B segment will attract many potentional buyers of the A1,despite its steep pricing,its common underpinnings and its shared(with the Ibiza and the Polo) structure and tech.
