You guys really don't understand how power output works.
The gist of it is that the engine puts out torque, and that's it. That's the only measure with any meaning. The HP is basically a conversion of that torque on the RPM scale of the engine.
So in essence, to increase the HP output without increasing the torque figure would require an engine that would keep increasing power as its RPM goes up, and then removing the rev limiter.
Unfortunately, turbo engines usually do not work like that, so there would be no benefit in upping the rev limiter, especially the ones with turbos as small as the TSI motor has.

However, about 50Nm of torque increase (it translates to about 210 BHP) should be safe for this gearbox, although I wouldn't get it on my car without an explicit warranty.

P.S you have to right the DSG ECU or you get in big Problems when you don´t do that youre engine ecu will be kill for 110%

This may be why revo are taking a while to get a map out. They may be looking into a DSG Stage 1 combo package.

I currently have a Mk4 Ibiza Fr TDi that has 330Nm of torque as standard so I'm real eager to match or better that with going up a model this time. The mid range pull is great easily keeping up with a Type R or Clio Sport mid range to around 100mph not that I've ever broken the speed limit on a public road

Has anyone been given any idea of price in the uk for the remap yet? As long as the map aint traceable if there is a major problem I'll be happy to go ahead with the 220Bhp 250Nm map. Anyone know much about the ECU n DSG maps being able to be seen by the dealers or ways of keeping them hidden I heard about wiping the flash memory or something.

I'm sure 330Nm can be done by the engine but I do think 330Nm will be pushing the DSG. Thats 80Nm more than its supposed to handle.

I've never heard of that being done before. But then I am relatively new to the tuning scene. But if they did develop a map that wouldn't void warranty I'd be seriously interested, but I wouldn't see where Seat would benefit really, cos it would put more strain on certain parts and could injure the VAG Group reliabilty reputation.

They would void the warranty, what the dealer are doing is taking the responsibility themselves. They can do one of two things, should the map be to blame for anything 1. Not tell SEAT and hope they dont look into it. 2. Pay for the repairs themselves.

This is all fine and dandy as long as the dealer stays in buisness.

Hello we are also Seat VW Skoda Dealer in germany and the warenty is not the problem for ouer costemer because nobody cam looking when it is a problem because the ECU is put in stock back.And sombody find out witch fuel pump is in the boc?

And why he can make this strong fuel and get this high.
