Bonnet lifter pictures

Right, Ive read through a few bonnet lifter threads, I see that some of the fixings are likely to break and or wont sustain the weight of the bonnet in the first place.

In short whats the best ones, where can I get them from, what fitment am I looking for (ie for a 6k vehicle would mk2/mk3 golf ones it and can you get them without the gay shiney chrome finish?

What about standard mk4 golf lifters, they might fit and they are black.

just tried fitting my bonnet lifters. they were light and didnt hold the bonnet open, gust of wind and it would of been dangerous. plus closed the bonnet and when i went to open it up again the 1 lifter had jammed shut almost ripped my bonnet apart trying to open it. contacting volks bits now.

Just fitted mine i ordered of volkbits and having the same problem plus they dont clip in well enough

something else i have to send back now not impressed, they have fk automotive on the box so if anyones after bonnet lifters dont get these

oh bu*ger that was a close call i was looking at ordering a pair of bonnet lifters from the same place as you jonesya!definitely wont be now though. does anyone know where else to get some good quality ones from then?

try looking for inxx ones they are the best. i have contacted volksbits who have informed me that they used to do inxx but when they are out of stock they use fk performance. same crap that i had. try ebay for a set.! think about £22 delivered from germany. or goolge it! comes up with a few places

Spoke to volkbits and they are going to swap them over to inxx ones which hopefully should work

Ive had a look on ebay lads and found loads of these inxx struts but what car to i need them to fit as ive looked for seat or ibiza and nothing comes up?

volksbits offered to swap mine for me but i cant find my receipt! lol.

dont know what size you need. will have a look later at how long mine are and will post the lengh. might help. on ebay they did do inxx for ibiza. i cant find them myself. do a search on google though. will probably find some

Recieved my inxx ones today off volk bits and these dont fit either

the ends are to straight, tried swap the ends over for the fk ones but cant get the inxx ones off to replace them

u mean the actual joints at the end? do thy not even adjust?

yer the joints at the end and there none adjustable

they are straight and need to be angled like the fk ones

think imight just start looking on google for a site that does them. the company are obviously just sending out some of the same size but for a different car.
