Bonnet not opening

Went to open my bonnet this morning and the lever is limp and when I pull it it is not opening the bonnet. Took the leaver off and tried pulling the wire with pliers, still no luck.

How can I get the bonnet open ??

Either: through the grill, via the wheel arch or undertray.

as @MJ said you need to get the inner wheel arch out and you should be able to see the cable.
