how easy is it to fit them? and how are they fitted? thinking of getting some as i cant get my bonnet to stop vibrating when closed and doesnt lock properly anymore.

easier to adjust the catch & wind up the rubbers on corners surely?

bonnets not level for some reason even though i didnt touch it. i gave up adjusting the catch after an hour as it didnt make any difference.

ive tried winding them down but might try without them at all see if it will lock. bonnet is a little crushed on one side.

The AeroCatches that I have are a pain to fit as you have to cut the shape of the catch out. The standard pins, I'd imagine are slightly easier as you don't have as much cutting to do.

that is until you realise your best mate has just drilled through the front panel 'and' the headlight reflector

then that night wonder's why his headlight beam has shadow's over it :lol::lol:

i think ill leave mine to be done proffesionally for that reason haha

measure twice - cut/drill once was/is and always the best way

almost as good as the sunglasses holder mod that got screwed in to the pillar and straight through the roof skin :p

or my mates Sprinter van that got ply-lined then pissed fuel all over the floor with the tank full of holes, how we laughed :cartman:

thats even better all this extra plywood effecting mpg haha

My bonnet isnt level either and I havent touched it. There is a bigger gap above the passenger headlight than above the drivers headlight. And its rubbing on the top bit of the grill because you see it when you open the bonnet.

I tried the corner adjusters but made no difference. So anyone know how to fix it??

tbh im going to wait untill mines runnin and then get pins when i get my bonnet wrapped so all neat and tidy :)

can beat that friend wanted to fit some seats in the back of his sprinter van for the kids so out comes the circluar saw sets it to the thickness of the ply floor but forgot that the van floor was ribbed  he now has a glass floor bottom sprinter van :cartman::cartman::cartman:
