Bonnet respray

Long story lol, but might need to get me bonnet resprayed, got 2 nice chips all the way through the paint.


How much am I looking at? Seen people quote 150-200 quid? I know a decent place near me so not worried on the quality etc.

Would getting it carbon wrapped look horrific? Hahaha

Bumper isn't too bad tbf mate, just the bonnet. Does the bumper need to be done to match the bonnet tho?

I can't believe a few chips makes you wanna get a respray, surely you could suffice with a touch up pen for a 10th of the price?

By 2 chips I mean 2 sections lol, with about 4/5 chips on each section, plus 1 or 2 stone chips from previous owner

There's a place near me mate, they do all of SEATs work from the dealer up the road, so I've seen what they can do

Will probs get some clear vinyl put on after its sprayed

Nothing worse than hand washing your car and finding all those stone chips. Whole front end of mine needs doing and a rusty front wing!

Depends on the colour but usually both parts are stone chipped equally,

Aftermarket paint will be softer then oe for at least 5months, so may result in more chips than you have.

The body shop does a lot of stuff for SEAT mate, so dunno whether they could get the proper paint!?

What about painting it and then vinyl wrap it??
