Tony banks custom exhausts in leeds for a backbox and maybe to get my silencer taken out of my decat/dp.

My question is what tail pipe to go for, open to opinions, oval and twin are the safest options but just wondered if there was anything I haven't thought about.

Cheers guys

im gonna get mine done at a longlife place im gonna try and see if they have a slanted oval tip :) i was tempted to do something wacky though like a trapezium shape like the lambo but smaller obviously haha

The Lambo one works because:-

a) Its a Lambo
b) Its encased in the bodywork

On a normal car it will look like a bent out of shape mishap.

I went to longlife and had twin staggered tailpipes fitted to my LCR. tbh it didn't really work. Looked ace looking at them when you're close to the car, but from a distance they looked horrible. didn't suit the cut out at all. Have the standard 6x4 oval fitted now, looks right.

also a word of warning about longlife twin pipes - if they're split from one exit on the backbox (sort of in a Y shape), it's restrictive (on a remapped LCR anyway). It made an awful noise that made me think the turbo was on the way out. Changed back to 6x4 oval and all is perfect again.

twin staggered would look good on the LC though I reckon, but still not sure about the restriction.

what option did you go with in the end? And is yours an LC or LCR? I'm guessing by your name, an LCR :)

Lol it's an lc, lcr is in the name because I was getting an lcr but finance fell threw, 6"x4" oval, it's pretty loud, pops and bangs :) not even bedded in yet either, already had a decat and a straight threw fit so it's pretty awesome :D
