Boost Playing up

I first got car, boosting nice n hard but then had troubles with it for months but now all sorted. I cant remember what psi i was getting though.

After i sorted the issues, was boosting to about 15-16 psi - car running fine and no error codes - didnt feel quite the same as it first was but was happy with it -

The last two days, ive been noticing a much better pull and realised it was hitting 20psi - which is what it felt like i first had it -

Lastnight, thought id have a little run with a friend in a 323 - i floored it and it boosted to 20 psi but dropped straight to 0 - changed gear and wouldnt boost and stayed at zero - slowed down and pulled off again slower then i did before and went to 20 psi again -

whats that all about?

sounds like your ecu is kicking in putting into limp mode momentarily, could be overboosting or think it is...

could be N75 or MAF normally

brought the n75 back in jan so hoping its not that - but ive got another one so will try that -

Maff - owell, good two months while it lasted - lol

haha which N75 did you buy? the standard normal one or a different version?

you could try unplugging the MAF and see if it still does it?

its the normal N75 - not the j one -

will have to disconnect the maf another time as mates got my vag cable -

its over boosting - was watching the boost guage and it gets to 20 -anything passed then, it kicks back to zero - will need to VAG COM it

what prat!!!!! was giving the engine bay a clean and left the pipe from the n75 to the charge pipe off!! ill get my coat.

shouldnt have this thrown the car in to limp mode?

mine is doing something very smiliar..

but only boosts to 17psi max with my p torque satage 1 map...

any idea? ive replaced MAF a while back......
