Fault Code called up – 17705 Pressure drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (Check D.V!)

Boost drop at random times, generally after 10mins or so. Once it drops, boost pressure will not exceed 0.3bar. However car still drives fine but with no boost, so fault code dropping car to limp mode? Restarting engine resets the problem so could be an electronic or actuator issue?

Noticed it was over boosting to about 1.8-2bar occasionally which is quite bad on the k03s, when you floor it on 1st and 2nd gear however no direct correlation with the boost drop as it still happens with no overboost driving normally.

Possible causes? – Boost leak, Throttle body, (N75 valve, was changed however still had the problem), Temp/coolant sensor, Intake Temps, Forge DV, ECU triggering limp mode/boost limiting?

Previous garage bypassed the n249 safety valve to the top of DV but still same issue.

Also is a fmic required at this power? Intake temps seemed to be fine so I held out from buying one.

Anyone have experience or advice you could give me to sort this, would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance!

Stage 1 you dont need anything. Stage 2 you needed the fmic.

Sup bigjohn, it is stage 2 mate, but intake temps are staying average so dosnt look to be essential

Even tho the temp look stable u still need the fmic. Better to have more air than less on stage 2

:hole: Perhaps more cooling!?

Either way, if the intake temps are steady then a front mount might not be required. But then, we don't know if the 'stage 2' had been pulled back at all to compensate for the lack of FMIC..

Or even what "stage 2" means full stop. It's a nothing quotation, "stages" have no context.
