So, it seems like one of those that never got solved in the forums (at least from what I can tell). In short it's a 1.8 TSI, the turbo has been recently removed and checked because of the wastegate actuator (that only seemed to be stuck). Present day - The car starts pulling nicely and turbo pleasantly whistling when it reaches around 1,250 rpm cold. As the car comes around or to operating temperatures, the turbo sound gets less and less prominent and the car doesn't really pull all that much. The turbo also seems to be starting to take effect at around 2000 rpm. It's really weird this one. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, is that something that can be done from one spot or parts have to be taken out and tested individually?

You wanna do as much as the system as possible, and if you don't know how to do it you're best finding a good specialist to make sure it's done properly.
