Boot light!

Can anyone link me a step by step guide to fitting a boot light?

Also what parts I need and where to buy them from!

Guessing this has been done before! I've looked in the boot and theres the little bit of plastic you can pop out on the left hand side guessing this is for the light?!?!

Just didn't no how hard it is to do and weather the wires are behind this plastic sitting there waiting to be connected up!?

The standard seat one is the cheapest pile of poop going. I pretty much broke mine to get the clips out.

I would consider getting something nicer from the vag range 2nd hand and fitting that.

Cool do you no if the wiring will be behind there or is it hit and miss?

Guess the best thing to do is to pop the plastic bit out and see if it's there!

I cannot see a guide to retro fitting. There are only 2 wires on mine. A multimeter or simple 12v bulb should help you find them once the panel is off. There should be a guide for a strip down. The micro switch is in the boot catch mech.
