Hi,

Cutting a long story short, my rear washer has gone for the second time; car's only an 05 plate so it's still new. This time, I have noticed moisture in the boot like a leak. Is this because I tried to squirt the water and a pipes come loose or something or will I have a leak?

Secondly, I noticed visibly loose wiring and cables under my passenger seat. I can see them sat in a driving position and they are definitely not usually like that. What are they? Do you think this relates to the problem above???

I have done a search on here and believe that the rear jet is commonplace, but I've not found anything about the wires under the seats so I am "nobbing two birds with one connie" The car's booked in for repair on the 23rd of this month as that's the earliest I can get a courtesy car. I am just worrying in case any more water pisses in.

Thanks

Re the washer jet, I had exactly same problem last week. Stealer has fixed it, apparently there is a pipe somewhere behind the left hand boot trim that comes apart (near the 12volt socket), think there is more info available if you search for boot + leak [B)]

parcel shelf support - left hand side. 3 philips screws, 2 in the boot and 1 behind the passenger rear seat - pull it away, not forgetting to detach the boot light. You should see the pipework and a right-angled join (great design NOT) its usually here where the join breaks.

Dont do anything stupid and join the pipes more permanently. It will only make your life worse when it breaks at the next weakest link which is in the roof section.... :(
