Bosch spark plugs

Hi ppl, did a self service on my car back in december & have been digging around the forum looking at bad things happening to ibizas with the wrong plugs....

I have bosch FR78X / Super 4 plugs in mine, is anyone else running these? are they ok?

i am mate been on them for 6000k miles no problems at all and no coil packs gone unlike the ngk ones fingures crossed!!!

i'm running super 4's and they seem ok still even after CC phase 1 so all is good so far

Not quite bosch plugs but since i've changed my NGK to denso's i've lost some fuel economy about 2-4 mpg anyone else noticed any change?

i just went from NGK to Denso Ik22 and ive seen a massive improvment in performance and MPG

Probably just because they were new plugs and the old ones were foobared.

2-4mpg could be due to something as little as tyre pressure or sitting in traffic for 30mins. How long ago did you change your plugs? Guessing at parts that might be on there way out would be an expensive game if you started changing them chasing your lost 2-4mpg.

only changed them 300miles ago i'm not really that fussed its just something i noticed. Plugs i've not changed the way i drive my car. mixture of spirited driving with journeys of not even boosting!

Might not be the way you drive your car just other circumstances. 2-4mpg is only a little change mate especially in only 300miles.
