Anyone know the maximum recommended brake disc wear limit.
The dealer is telling me my discs are worn and need replacing but having inspected myself there is a small lip but not excessive in my opinion.
I have a micrometer, just need to know the manufacturers recommended minimum thickness.

Thanks.

P.S. it's an 09 FR diesel.

Recommended minimum is 22mm for the 25mm discs and 19mm for the 22mm discs.

I suspect you'll have the 25mm discs.

Common dealer trick, "Your rear pads are over 75% worn Sir, but conveniently we have a spare half hour in the workshop if you would like us to replace them while your car is with us..."

Pointed out when I picked the car up there appeared to be a lot of pad remaining, cue some red faces and excuses. 5000 miles later got round to replacing them myself and there was still about half the pad material left.
