Brake pads/discs

I have a 63 plate Seat Leon FR 2.0L diesel. I just got some new rear tyres and was told the rear pads/discs will need replacing in around 1000 miles.

They quoted me around £180 but looking online I reckon I could source parts for £50 and a garage near me will replace for £50.

However I'm getting confused by the different sizes of brake discs and pads that are listed when putting my reg into car part websites.

Anyone had any experience of ordering discs and pads (rear) and what size they got? My car has the 18" alloys (if that makes a difference).

Thanks

is yours the slow one or the fast one ? ;)

the 184 has bigger brakes than the 150

Ha, the slow one!

Yeah I've figured it's the 1KD part, 255/253mm discs and pads to match the size.

The 184 I assume must take the 288mm discs.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong!
