Does anyone find that the height of the brake pedal is a bit high? I'm a new Cupra owner and have found this to be a bit of a PITA.

Is there any way to adjust the height?

Cheers guys.

Been thinking about this and the reason why the pedal sits so proud of the accelerator pedal. It's got to be in the name of safety - just like how the accelerator pedal is floor hinged instead of top hinged to stop the mat getting caught under it. The brake pedal is set high so that you don't also press the loud pedal when braking. I think!

I'm also getting used to it anyway, so case closed I guess.

I had this problem when I bought my leon a year ago. The pedal is higher allegedly to prevent the accelerator being pressed as well under heavy braking, as many audi owners in the past crashed because of this. I looked into changing the height as my seat position really stops me from being able to taper braking as much as I need too. I wasnt able find a way of doing so. My only suggestion could be to add an extra section (build up the thickness) of the accelerator pedal so that it is closer, allowing the seat position to be changed to minimise the impact of brake pedal position. Obviously this is all dependent on how much leway you have operate the clutch. I do remember seeing a picture about adjusting a bolt leading to the pedal from the master cylinder but think that might have been on a different model.

Ive kinda got used to mine now after a year, the only time it really affects me is when trying to perfect my driving as it stops be braking with the delicacy required sometimes. Having said that if I could adjust it I still would. My other issue which affected me more so was the rear view mirror, as it is to big and too close to the driver resulting in it obstructing the top left quarter of the windscreen. Could do with removing and sticking to the screen itself

There must be more people that can say for definite whether this can be done.
Can anyone else assist with this problem?
