Hi Gents,
Recently i bought a set of Brembo 4 pistons (42 mm) calipers for my Leon Cupra 2008 model year. Since the set is used and repaired i'm not sure from with vehicle it is (seller told me they from Porshe GT3).
Now i would like to use 312 mm (5x112 mm) brake discs , same as used in VW golf GTI mk5,6.
Does anyone have an experience with similar upgrade? What kind of adapters should i buy to install this brake discs and these new calipers?
Thanks!

P.S. Just found something in ebay but not sure about these.

312mm rotors work well with the boxter / cayman 986/987 brembo caliper.

Handling is greatly improved due to the significant weight loss over the 345mm's and the heavy as hell oem Cupra calipers

The kit has become widely known as the nqsbbk (not quite so big brake kit) I've tried this kit on mine and was well mannered on daily use and handled Trackdays fine with Pagid blue pads. Searching the mk5golfgti forum for nqsbbk will bring you lots of info and opinions. It's popular amongst the Gti folk

The 996turbo calipers are bigger and accept the 350mm Mercedes disc and are also great, I've had this kit too;

The Aston db9 / ford gt caliper with ap 2 piece 362mm rotors is a great kit, I've used this kit. I bought it for mine but sold before fitting

I'm now on the brembo gt senior with fully floating 2 piece 370mm brembo motorsport rotors & Pagid blue pads. Frickin awesome setup that has taken all sorts of abuse.

Or get the 340mm Brembo TTS discs as mentioned in a recent thread. They are supposed to be lighter by a fair bit and better vented.
