Bright white centre light

At last I have a lovely bright white interior light!! And it doesn't glow when it's off now!! I got a festoon bulb with a built in resistor for 7 quid and love it. It turns off and on very quick. If anyone needs details drop me a line. Very simple mod that looks great in winter dark Eve's.

I'd be interested to know what you've bought

I've held off doing the LED interior lights for a while, just because I don't want to get stuck with one that glows when it's supposed to be off!

Hope this link works ? This is the website , you are after a can bus festoon light 40mm. If you read the description it tells you they are for cars with bulb failure systems . And they have a built in resistor . The cost is 7.14 incl postage .

Any probs drop me a line, very easy to change and like I said doesn't glow when off.

Oh I got a 42mm one with 8x SMD led's but it fits fine anyway.

I actually got a two pack of these from ebay and stuck one in the boot light too.

These are very similar to the ones I got but not the same ones as the seller seems to not be selling them now:

I then also got 2x led wedge bulbs for the map reading lights at either side of the main one:

Definitely recomended this mod guys. Really subtle mod for a little cost. The one in the boot light I find is a must as it is much brighter than the normal bulb.

I also have LED's in the nukber plate lights, front sidelights and in the glove box.

are your sidelight LED's blueish ? i have nightbreaker normal beam and LED's look blue next to them ? although the sides look great on their own...
