Well ive held my tongue till now. They are our local dealer and what a set off good for nothings.

We asked them to-do an injector test on our FR grumble grumble grumble grumble... and attitude.

They have refused to work on our car again because we pointed out the injector issue and tests been free of charge and involving Watchdog.

Anyway SEAT UK approved FOC injectors and wiring harness.....Bristol Street refused to do the work and we had to go to Sheffield family dealer when we live 3 miles from Bristol Street.

The Sheffield dealers were great, SEAT UK rang them, they rang us we took car, they said what they were doing, we picked car up same day washed and valeted with new injectors and harness paid by SEAT UK.

Even got free keyring. Thank god for Gilderhill SEAT/VW

Not been back to the Sheffield one since Autoworld closed down, gutted when it did because they were great with me, I have to be honest and say my experience with the Barnsley branch (Ted Johnson as it was when I bought my car and required aftersales help) was far from good, in the 3 years my car was under warranty it went back to them around 30 times (and that isn't exagerated, some times it was in a couple of times a month) for a few issues regarding knocking from the front of the car, they even failed to notice that on one occasion my two front tyres had worn abnormally down to the metal on the inside!!!! Surely if you are inspecting the front suspension area of a car you would notice this pretty quickly

I have just never found them to really want to try hard enough to get to the bottom of the issue, it seemed I was the one going there and suggesting what I think should be changed/checked, surely the job of the mechanics  in the end the final word to me was "We can't do anymore" awesome! Just what I wanted to hear lol

From what I have heard and experienced with these guys is that they are good and friendly when it comes to the selling of the cars (had no real complaints when I initially bought mine), but when you need any aftersales help or want them to go the extra mile to try and resolve an issue they're really not interested.

I've been back a couple of times since having the new car as it's my local dealer but still not what I'd call impressed. The sale will be fine but the aftersales is poor imo, just have to hope you bought a good un ;)

inconsistent is a word id use to describe this company, agree with the remark that sales are fine

its when something goes wrong, i used one of there other sites, been mixed results some good some very bad which isn't really too clever when you are parting with hard earned cash to keep them in business

In my experience the salesmen are helpful, it's the aftersales if you ever need it that isn't up to scratch.
