Hi all,

New member here. 2 weeks ago I picked up a 2016 Leon ST FR 2.0 TDI 184 with tech pack.

On the way to work this morning, the car went into limp mode and I got a flashing preheating system warning light. Pulled over and turned off and it cleared.
Had Seat assistance out today and its a faulty Oil Pressure switch, which first manifested itself in May, long before I bought the car.
The Seat dealer I bought it off supposedly serviced it in July before I purchased it, should it not have been scanned and picked up then?

Anyway, future plans are to remap, and maybe upgrade to the 18" alloys, and keep the 17" with winter tyres on in the garage.

Cheers.

With regards to the dealership picking it up at service, probably not unless there were symptoms of it being faulty and logs left on the cars system to that effect.

It's a cheap small fix so unlikely they'd intentionally look past it
