broken wing mirror...advice please?

right, there is two wires, one grey (ish) and one brown, i put the brown one over the top of the round and the greyish one under it, this keeps them well seperated, they are safe anyway as there is a plastic hood over each spade female connector.

ah you have the squarish mirrors, should be similar underneath.

yes theyre a differnet shape.....did you put the plastic covers over the spades yourself?

no they were already there, if yours dont, put a little insulation tape over them just in case.

cordoba, managed to figure it all out!....I have the wrong mirror. Turns out I have heated mirrors and I didnt even know!......put my hands on them with the rear window demister on and they went warm.

Part he gave me was for non heated......also realised that the spades just pull off and I will re-attach onto the new mirrow when I get it tomorrow. So it will be a 1 sec job and alot easier than I thought.

Only downside was I have to pay £25 for a heated one instead of £17 for a non heated.
