the exhaust on my btcc kit is starting to bug me, sits way in and quite low, iv tried adjusting it but not having much luck to be honest!

i was considering upgrading exhaust system anyway, has anyone recomendations? is there much benefit to replacing full system, and this dpf removal, whats the deal with it, and costs?

yea its a 140, didnt realise they didnt have one, which models do then?

definately dont want pigeon noises haha - just a nice note

just the pd170 for the leon range as far as I know.

The only way to really to get any decent note from a diesel is to do a mufflerectomy, which also has the effect of hearing your wastegate go when you change gear and making the Cooouuu sound, which being from NI I'm sure youve heard every Golf on R plates make lol

I've a got powerflow straight through system, and love the sound it makes at higher revs, still sounds like a tractor at low revs though :(
It does make the couuu noise but it's a low more low in tone and I really like the sound of, although I know it's not to everyones taste.

I had to film the sound the car was making once to try work out a problem so I'll look it out to see what you think once I get home

Replaced my Remus (OE BTCC fitted) system with Mangex, now the tips sit nicely outside the bumper.

Fish

ive got Straight Through no boxes on my PD170, Limited Edition STR (Special Tuning Racing BTCC Team) Exhaust made by Scorpion. Because my car was used in development they asked me what i wanted leaving on and i said No Boxes.

The PD170 Doesnt give out the Pidgeon noise like the rest of the PD engines

Here's my car on the Advert

They Unfortuantely dont do a Back Box for the BTCC Dual Exit though, Only Cover Left Exit like mine and soon K1 Centre Exit

mate the bracket on your dual btcc just get some pliers and bend it so it sits higher. my looks alot better and sits bag on. also sits better on the bracket more sturdy and doesnt make a band sound either for a diesel

I no I'm opening a old thread but can u still get this exhaust cheers
