I wouldnt mind slightly bigger tail pipes on the rear of my leon, i feel the remus tail pipes are almost hidden in the bumper, are these remus exhausts worth much??
Just unsure whether i should sell it, change the exhaust to a custom one or simply get an exhaust place to cut off the tips and add bigger ones that also sit out a bit more

2bh i think this looks very tidy, from side view he has these sitting out quite far though

i would pretty much be looking for what the above pic has but not as far out! just unsure if its worth my while getting tips welded onto this or if they are expensive i could sell this on and get a custom backbox made with maybe a smaller silencer

You mean just having the tips cut off and bigger ones welded on or the actual backbox removed and just with a pipe going straight to each exhaust tip with no silencer?

I mean a straight through pipe either side no silencers/backbox. Someone with a BCS one has got pics on the forum from under the car and shows how it should be

Mufflercotomy and straight through are different things

One is removal of the suitcase backbox, the other is the removal of everything

Looks well, was in talking to a local place and he was talking 450 for a downpipe back but i didnt really think its worth doing on a diesel
Do you get a bit morw noise off it with no rear silencer, dont wanna go back to the roar like my civic but at the moment its all just engine noise

Not at all . Around town its just like any other diesel but if you give it abit mine make a nice "burbleling" sound , i like how it sounds its just right .

If you speak to a custom exhaust company im sure they can bend the pipes in such a way to make to desired noise u want . My old cupra sounded like a jet rocket on full throttle but thats the noise i was after at the time !!

My OE fitted Remus was a straight system after the CAT to the back box. Gave a nice sound, but I needed a bit more girth. ;)

Will do mate. I'm gonna try and do a before and after video. It will then be straight through from the dpf with no boxes

Lol not a straight system at all then its got a cat and a backbox so its just a normal exhaust ;)
