Bucket Seats

Hiya!

The drivers seat in my FR is starting to show some wear and I'm thinking about replacing both front seats with aftermarket bucket seats like sparco or recaro.

I have a question though, I believe my FR seats got airbags in them which the aftermarket buckets seats do not have, is there a way to disconnect the air bag cables without getting error codes?

Yes, you use a resistor. Google the Golfmkv forums or Vwvortex and you´ll find your answer

Would it still be road legal if it is missing some of the airbags it came with? I thought this was included in the change of rules and would therefore be an MOT failure.

It would be interesting to know though.
