Bug Problem- White cars

Ok this may so sound strange, but everyday when i go to work through out the day my car is covered in flies, all along the roof, spoiler and boot.

I noticed today that they have left little poo marks (i take it a fly does do that) which are yellow where they all sit.

Is this just because it is white or maybe my car smells? of wax or just like some dying animal lol. It makes me car look gross when other people see it with flies over it, probably seems like theres a dead body in there haha.

Anyone else have this problem?

I had this problem in Czech Republic when we were there. Washed the car and looking all nice, go for a walk and when I came back there were all these little crap marks all over the car, greeny type colour and had to re-wash the damn car. I reckon as it's white it shows up more than on a darker coloured car.

As Jas says white just shows it up more, happens to mine a lot but blends in because it's black. Use bug remover to get rid of them and clay your car every now and then

Ah right, i just haven't seen any other car really in our car park that must have about 30+ flies on it just sat there.

Need to clean the car anyway as its filthy just hope no one gets close enough to see the marks lol.

You don't wanna see mine. Since being smashed in the rear I aint washed it. Just left it standing there while I wait for the go ahead to get her repaired.

Well, my body shop quoted me £700.00 which is mates rates as it is for the company I work at so I don't know what the other estimate is as it is now going through insurance.

yeah i got alot of flies on mine, from small flies to large flies front bumper, front window, wing mirrors etc. i don't get the yellow poo on mine mostly red lol! i sometimes get some orange dots on the car too hmmmm.

One week in the summer when i had the black Ibiza every afternoon/ early evening there would be hundreds and hundreds of these weird flies all over it, as if it kept the heat or something. Was a nightmare using the windscreen wipers to clear any smudges as it just created more lol

Glad im not the only one!!! I really annoys me, seeing flys on it all the time, i think they like white!! or a wax that seat use :S didnt know what the yellow bits were, but now you say that, it makes sense!!

ahhh noo!!! lol just told my ol man about why all the flys attracted to my car and about the yellow spots, he said yer thats saliva they spit out to dissolve whatever they are trying to eat!! so im guessing its acidic which = bad for the paintwork :S

must be the nice smelling wax i've used before. that would explain why they only hang around on my car. Doesnt help that i have a bloody spider living in my wing mirror (behind the mirror) so they flies also get caught in the web it makes every single night after i get rid of it.

Insects obviously think they can live, wine and dine on my car.

LOL. Well, with the weather fast deteriorating now at least we won't have to worry too much about that again for the next few months hahahahahahahaha

I have a spider too well annoying!! when i wash my car i blast the mirror with the pressure washer but it somehow survives

poloman: Lmao same here! It's mad. I've grabbed him once and put him on the wall next to the car and he reappeared the next day! I was quite proud of him for that lol
