I am going to build my 1.8T engine soon and I want to know if there is something I am missing from my engine parts list, I am using stock pistons, I have ibiza fr bjx engine:

- rods(19mm)
- crank bolt
- main bolts
- main bearings
- rear seal
- oil pump
- rod bearings
- head bolts (or studs depending if you want to step up)
- head gasket kit
- timing belt kit
- pan sealant
- assembly lube
- pistons with rings or OEM rings if using stock pistons

I also have supe***** valves, valve springkit and new valve guides.

Do you need any new stretch bolts and other seals?

Why use standard pistons and 19mm pin rods if you are going through the trouble of getting an engine built? If it's a cost saving exercise it would make more sense to get some second hand bam pistons and some 20mm pin rods?

Water pump is included in the timing belt kit. I only need reliable 300-400hp, 19mm pin rods and stock pistons will handle that easily. Piston rings will cost half the cost of the aftermarket pistons. And I have driven my car about 37 thousand miles, maybe thats why I wont be needing new pistons.
