Button for hybrid mode?

Just picked up my new Cupra Leon Hybrid, and can't find any button to quickly flick between eMode and HybridMode. None at the steering-wheel, and none at the dashboard. Is it really that bad that you have to go through the menu system for that? I counted in total five clicks for that, unworkable during driving. Or is there some way to set HybridMode as default when starting the car? The driver manual suggests no such possibilities......

BTW, 245 HP is rubbish. For 25 km, yes, but in eMode the car doesn't accelerate at all above 60 mph, in HybridMode with battery it's OK at best, with only the petrol engine it's fecking lorry performance. I had Leon ST 300 for seven years, so perhaps not fair to expect something more. Still, the car looks rabid, but goes like a stinker.....

Best way is to put it as a shortcut / widget on the main infotainment screen. That way you always have the e and hybrid buttons visible.

Long press on the main tile you want to change, and choose battery (think it's battery, might be hybrid), then swipe it up/down until you get the e mode / hybrid buttons:

Another quick way without navigating the menu is double press the gear selector when putting it into drive, this puts in into sports mode and fires up the engine under acceleration

Hi
I've had my Cupra Leon hybrid for just over a year and have read as much of the manual as I can take!
I have often wondered about why you have to go through the infotainment system (or touch the screen) to switch from E-Mode to Hybrid at all and I think I have found the answer.
For me, if I turn the car on in 'Comfort' mode and it starts in E-Mode (as always), pulling the gear lever to the bottom simply engages the 'S' gears. BUT if I put the car into S mode and Hybrid then turn it off (Finished for the day etc,) The next time I turn it on, the car not only remembers it's in 'S' mode but the gear shift behaves differently. It starts in E-Mode as always but when I pull the gear lever down, it not only switches to 'S' gears but also flicks from E-Mode to Hybrid. Pulling it again flicks it back to E-Mode. Just like a switch.
Needless to say, I've started making sure I park it in 'S' mode and Hybrid ready for this improved way of doing it.
I did not see any of this in the manual but it works for me and I thought I'd share it in the hope it works for you too

Sounds about right, there have always been ways of doing stuff that was never in the user guide. I remember giving tips and also getting a few back in the days when I had my 280 new in 2014.
