Hi there!

I am a newbie to seat Ibiza cupra r and any car with a turbo, Just turned 20 and am wanting to buy a new cupra r within the next year, Just wondered if any of you could help me out with what I need to look/ask for when buying, of course there is the service history blah blah

I am aware that there are clutch, electric windows problems. Any more would be a great help.

I don't have too much experience with the Cupras, although I'm running a TDi 110 now and ran the 1.8 Turbo lump in a Skoda for a while...
The majority of it should be common sense, stuff you would look for on any car. If possible try and get hold of Vag-Com so you can check if it's showing up any fault codes. Can be problematic to get sorted, although they're generally pretty solid.

How can I tell if it has a boost leak as i have never driven a turo before

if the car has a boost guage the psi would drop down instead of holding it other than that have a search for boost leak pages
