Buying a 2004 TDI 130

Hi, just joined the forums and looking to buy a nice Ibiza TDI 130 I've seen at a local showroom.

It was registered in March 2004 so I've already emailed Seat about the recall they had back then to see if the work was carried out. It is labelled as a sport but has the 130bhp TDI engine thats now in the FR, so I wondered what kit should I expect on it? It has alloys, climate control and electric mirrors, but should I also expect to see an mp3 player with steering controls or some of the other snazzy gadgets?

All advice greatly appreciated! :)

i have the same car you will get 16 inch alloys, 6 speed gear box, climate control, electric heated mirrors, electric windows, trip computer and a single slot cd player these cars are very understated and are a wolf in sheeps clothing

Thanks for the info, its been helpful and has alleviated my worries to be honest. I said yes today and have to put the deposit down tomorrow, should be mine by the end of next week - assuming the dealer checks the engine recall work was carried out on it! :)

Hi and welcome to SCN...

The original TDI Sports had the 130 engine, because for a year or two they were the top of the range model.
When the FR came out (and the Cupra) they reduced Sports to the 100 engine.
