Buying my first car

Hello everyone, I need a new car and I've been thinking of the Leon mk4 2020/2021.
I've been driving Seats my whole life and I loved this new model.

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on the 1.5 TSI with 150hp, however I'm afraid.
I see a bunch of these 2020 models on sale with similar milages (20k - 30k kms).

I would like to know if there are any concerns with these model or engine and the consumption y'all are doing, since I will be driving in the city for the most part.

Is the maintenance cost of having a DSG car much more than a manual?

Thanks everybody.

The main concerns with that model are around the infotainment system, bugs in it's software and that of some other control modules e.g. the sos system. Do your research first but, if it's had all the updates performed and everything still works fine then it should be reliable.

The infotainment system remains a weak point, you'll either get by or hate it, but the engine and mechanicals are all proven, if maintained well.

The DSG needs a separate oil change every few years, 40k miles I think, but I've not heard any of any other major concerns.

These cars are very popular with rental companies on the Iberian peninsula and they tend to swap their cars out at 20-30,000km or when they reach 2 years old.

That may be why you see a lot of these for sale. Same with Peugeot 208, Opel Corsa and Opel Astra etc
