Bye Bye Bocanegra

Well, after 3 years of the Boca Boca chicken car and its ups and downs. Much hum and har over what to buy, bullet has been firmly bitten, no more trying other brands, no more about to put down a deposit only to have massive second thoughts. Done deal today, got a really good deal on (Drum roll please) .................

White Seat Leon Supercopa. Collect on the 1st September. Got couple of extras for it as well so all in all very happy. Traded the Bocanegra in and had equity plus only a wee bit to put towards it. Went for the 6 speed manual petrol version.

Feeling a bit skint now, will in some ways be sad to see Bocanegra go. But we needed a little more room for our 7 year old monster to get in and out.

I am so proud of you mate lol. They are stonking cars and the FL dash is definately a little more impressive than pre fl. If I had the money it would have been a FL for me but I am more than happy with what I have now hehehehe

Jason and his 299 bhp beastie! I am just trawling for upgrades, cosmetics first, grille has to go! needs to be edged in black with mesh! Foot rest, sill plates, tax disc, posh mats and then on to the rest again!

Dave with the amount of spec it has I would have been mad to walk away and buy the other car I looked at. Plus the ST is probably October or November for delivery. With the equity going down rapidly I had to make a choice. Basically the chap who sold me the Boc fed me a line on how much it was worth at the end. (Lying twat) Also saw him re the ST yesterday. To say he erm "massaged" the figures is an understatement on a new ST2.

Very pleased with the car purchase woke up and thought hmmm done the right thing!

LOL, you don't wanna know what I have spent on it mate. If driven sensibly I am stil getting the same fuel consumption when when I give some I am down to about 17MPG hahahahha. Handling is all sorted, running on coillies and ARB's with red stuff pads and supper blue racing brake fluid. Engine mods as follows:

Forge twintercooler
APR HPFP
ITG induction
Milltek DP and centre silencer deleted
RS4 valve
Irridium 8 plugs
REVO stage 2 linear map.

0-60 mph in 5.68 secs
1/4 mile in 13.88 secs - damp track at Bruntingthorpe

FR Badge for front.
Mesh Grille Black surround
Black Mirror covers. (Wifes request)
Sill Plates
Factory mats (no cheap ****)
Door pulls in silver for inside.
Center arm rest
Sports pedals (Although sales bod seems to think they are fitted) but hey ho !
Powder coat wheels in Titanium Grey Gloss or Black.
Posh tax disc holder


Then Re map stage 1

Think that will do for starters.
