Yeah, I wanted something different. I did like the silver, but didn't want to pay out money just to get em back the same colour. LOL.

Oooo that's a good 2 hours drive for me, how long did they need the car for? I assume they balanced etc one done

The difference is night and day better than the silver I think.

Cheers

Unfortunately most of the week (Tuesday morning till Friday lunch). But I've not found anywhere that does it same day. Plus, my wheels were pretty beat up. Yeah, they refitted tyres and balanced wheels. Also they advised me that if I was thinking of changing tyres in the next couple of months now was the time. So I ordered 2 new front tyres from blackcircles, left them in the boot and they fitted them on for me FOC.

Collinite is a good wax, not the easiest to apply and buff but lasts quite well.

First time I've used it, I usually use Natty Blue paste. I missed how easy the Natty is to buff off. But hoping for longetivity it's worth it in the end, I'm going to use natty as my weekly top up wax.

Toughie. I've read many reviews of this is the best and thats the best. Maybe on a black car that would show up everything, there would be big differences. On a blue car I've found only subtle differences between each product. I think KKD is up there with auto finesse. But I found the KKD harder to work and the bottle design was :censored:.

Poorboys blackhole is out. I'm sticking with auto finesse for polishing / glaze. Wax wise the colonite is harder to work, but I believe longer lasting... should have taken a picture cause I actually just jet washed my bonnet to watch the water run off the colonite for much longer than I probably should have. I do like the natty blue though, very easy to apply, even in hot weather. But doesn't last as long.

So I'm doing snow foam->magma->megs nxt->tripple->ultra glaze->colonite.
then my weekly wash will be:
Snow foam->megs nxt->natty blue

It's still like glass, so I didn't clay it. And not sure I can be bothered with it now I've waxed and polished it all. But it's on my list :)

Loving that shade of blue
Cheers:)

Unfortunately not. But they do have a selection:

Also ordered the blue SeatCupra sticker to start with. Going to hold it up to back window and if I don't like it, stick it on the splitter like you have! Isn't copying the highest form of flattery or summat?
Are you not worried that people will hold on to the door handles and just snap them off when you give it the beans...?

Edit:

Are we the Speed blue club... @Legojon @Hawkers

Nah, I advise people to hold onto to the door handle when at traffic lights. It's like a security blanket and tends to keep em quieter.

But that surely creates finger and palm/sweat prints on the gloss black bits...

As well as sweat patches where they hit their head on the restraint. But that's what Autoglym is for! I add extra excitement by using vinyl/rubber on it so their hand keeps slipping off.

How many do we need for an army?

Grrr. Collonite after 3 weeks on the left. Natty blue paste after 2 days on the right. So that'll be me re-waxing the entire car then.
