The caliper mounts on the cupra hub, are they the same as anything else in the VAG family, golfs etc.

E.g discs are the same as a g60

Ta :)

I know that mate, ive got a set of g60 discs.

I need to know if the caliper mounts and all the associated hub offsets etc are shared with anything else. E.g the whole brake setup from a g60 will bolt onto a cupra without issue.

the calipers from an audi tt (312mm) bolt on with minimal mod.. from reading what mork and f2stu say its a few mm shaved off the carrier.

you then need to change the brake lines.. and also get the discs redrilled for a 4 stud car, however i have been told this is easy to do with the use of a mill drill.

Im not interested in the discs/pads, purely the caliper mounts. As daz said.... ghetto tuning at work. Goto make some **** fit, and it would be alot easier if something from another vag car bolted on and fitted perfectly.

Yes but im not interested in 280mm calipers, ive got my eyes on a far bigger aftermarket setup, but not for an ibiza.

So in theory if say a mk3 golf standard setup will fit on the ibiza, then so will the aftermarket product designed to fit the mk3 golf.

Im sure as **** not paying 700 quid for a set of piss brembos

So what were saying is that an aftermarket 330mm 4pot kit designed to fit a 4stud mk2/3 golf should in theory be a direct replacement for the standard mk3 ibiza cupra setup?
