Anyone know when you get your cam belt changed on an 07 cupra and what mileage.

Tried looking but couldn't find anything for a petrol cupra.

Thanks

Hello mate. Seat told me the cam belt should be done after 60'000 or 4 years, whatever comes first. Just getting mine done myself as it's got 48'000 on the clock and is 7 years old.

Liam.

Daz, can you give me any advice on the air pump? Mine needs replacing and it's pretty pricey and I'm getting conflicting views from different people on what it does and how important it is. I am getting the part at trade and obviously want to keep my car at the highest standard. Just want to know if any one else has had this problem?

cambelt

took mine to the dealers saying i had a tapping noise coming from the engine
they said they would change the cambelt kit all under warranty
car has done 40000 saved a few pounds there then

It depends on the chassis number. Different engine I know, but some of the FR TDi's have to have it done at 60, others at 80. Luckily mine is an 80! Although the dealer suggested having it done at 70 to spread the cost as the 80 is a major service. Typical eh lol! :)
