cambelt and water pump change on leon cupra

Im loking at a 2002 cupra. Completely standard and it has a full service history and it is on 118k miles now but the last time the cambelt was changed was 60k and no record of water pump being done. What mailege should the belt be changed and also the water pump?

Milliage I believe is every 60k but what is always over looked is time. How many years since it was replaced?

Didnt think to check. I just asked about the milage. Was hoping it needed chsnging to br honest so i could reflect it in my offer. Its quite badly faded aswell as its ovni yellow but has been very well looked after!

When I bought mine it was apparently done 3k miles ago but I had it done again as they couldn't give a reciept.

Just isn't worth the risk- isn't that expensive anyway really.
