Started car and got it loaded up with Gear and Kids to head off to parents yesterday, while I locking the roof box, the engine just died! Jumped in and turned the key and started for 30 seconds then died again!
plugged in Carly and got the code above!
2015 Alhambra 192,225 kilometres on the clock!

I’m thinking of changing the fuel filter, fuel pump and running a cleaner thru the fuel system!
any other suggestions to clear the issue?

problem has come on very suddenly (no warnings previously) now won’t run for more than 30 seconds without dieing

am I missing a trick here? Is there a recommended fuel pump that I should go with? What’s your experience of changing them like in the Alhambra? I can only assume the access for the pump is under the rear seats somewhere?

Anyone got any idea how to access the fuel pump? Is it a full floor strip out?
im away for a few days and want to get this done next week when im back but if its awkward i might just take it to someone to do it for me

Not sure on that one but the previous model it was under the carpet behind the drivers seat, black access panel held on with a few screws.

Be worth a google though as there's mention of a fuel pressure sensor and also possible chain stretch on petrols.

Yea as I thought it’s going to be full strip to clear the floor so probably beyond my capabilities right now!
I’ll get it to a local mechanic that has the time and space!

Car was sort of fixed. Fuel control module was kaput, had that replaced and a week later the fuel pump started making a whining noise.
So its getting a new pump this weekend. That should also fix the fuel pressure issue thats shown up over the last few days, and the slight loss of power under acceleration. (tho that could be my imagination as I am normally driving a car with more than double the power, so could just feel slow in comparison)
