rite ok wonder if any one has any ides

yesturday we changed the passenger track rod end now there is a funny noise when u hit about 25 - 30 miles a hour the noise is hard to explain like a whoo whoo whooo noise ( really hard to explain ) i think my shock may have collapsed or very near as it is leaking loads would this cause it ?
any help greatfully receaved :)

the steering feels really really bad as well would it be worth going and having it tracked first before i have anythin else done ?

well you will have both the front wheels trying to pull the car in differance ways..... get the tracking sorted 1s! and go from there

from the great description of the noise, it may be a wheel bearing, but not really related to changing the track rod,

most likely tracking kezz, if your gonna get coilies, just wait until you put them on, cos when you drop it, get tracking and camber done properly, so its all cushy :)

For now you could try and make it a bit better by eye I guess. Put the steering straight ahead and wind in or out the track rod till the wheel looks straight.

mike's idea sounds good, or adjust the new one to the exact same as the old one? (make same length/position of nut) then shove on :)
