Can I use k&n oil on my green panel filter?

Hi guys, I recently got a cheap 2nd hand green cotton panel filter for my pd100. Only thing is it needs a clean and oiling

I have some k&n air filter oil left over from my last filter. could I use this without damaging the filter?

yes you should be fine it just wont be green any more

Why bother? Take it out and chuck it, the oem paper job is good for daft power anyway
