Can u have stage 1 with the maf unplugged ?

Hi ppl just a question can u have a stage one remap done with the maf unplugged can settings be done mapped with it not being used. It runs bad with a low boost stutter plugged in but no fault codes nothing but unplugging it runs well just not sure if it's the maf so running it unplugged and I want stage 1 as well many thanks

Chances are it's the maf. Get it swapped out. They're not that expensive

I've had it on vagcom no faults at all but with maf plugged in there's a drop in boost at 2000 to 2500 Rpm for a split second on light throttle then back ok full boost with no problems. It's intermetant as well 1st 2nd gear only. Unplugging maf cures it cheers

just because there is no fault codes, doesn't mean there isn't a fault. the fact it runs better with the maf unplugged should tell you that the maf is faulty.

you cant sensibly map a car with faults
