Can VAG COM reset Aura?

Does anyone know if the Aura headunit can be reset by VAG Com. Or is it a visit to the dealers for me?

Thanks for the reply sssstew. I ran Vag Com on it:

Radio:
65535 Internal Control Module Memory Error. 00-10- --Intermittent.

Anyone any idea if this can be repaired? Seat want £330+Vat for new head unit!!!

Hi cordoba, thanks for the reply.

It's ok for a while (10 mins or so) playing CD's etc. Then it goes crazy. Sometimes it goes into RDS search, sometimes wrong functions are happening randomly when any buttons are pressed.

Sometimes no buttons work at all and it is stuck playing a CD for about ten minutes, then it audibly fast forwards or rewinds the disk at random!

Then it won't let you do anything until the power is down for a while. After which, all is well again for a few minutes, but only a few minutes.

The other night I took the fuse out, re-entered the code after an hour or so, and it worked fine. But in the morning it went haywire again. It's been the same since.

sounds more like a physical problem with it then, i fear it is a dealer job.

as above that sounds more like a buggered circuit board, did you spill coffee or anything down it (i assume you have the coffee holder above the headunit?)

No mate, only had it a week, it was like it when I bought it. Any ideas with my wiring problem above?
