Can you convert gearboxes and clutches?

on my mk2 golf im going from 8v O2O to a G60 with O2A.... although i could stuck with the O2O as it all matches up, driveshafts ect, its just weaker.
youll need the shifter tower and cables, i picked these up on ED38 for 25 out of an Audi A3 or S3 or summat. im then going to use whats on my ibiza 16v whch is a convertor... which means you can retain the pedal box and run a clutch cable ... O2A boxes generally run with hydraulic clutch.. if you want this youd need the pedal box and the pipeing.
