can you fit alloys from aLeon to an ibiza

my mate crashed his old shape Leon not long after having it and had sum nice alloy wheels on it he has now got the new shape Leon and has nicer ones on that
is it possible to fit the wheels for the old leon to my 08 Ibiza as the holes are slightly further apart is there any thing i can buy to get them to fit

The old Leons wheels should fit the Ibiza! Ive seen a few Ibizas with those starfish alloys from the cupra!

and tbh it doesnt take long to try!

I was always under the impression that the hubs were the same on the Ibiza and Leon so the pcd should be the same, it depends if the new wheels are 18's, although they do fit, apparently it screws the ride up, it also depends what profile the tyres are.

i have leon wheels on my ibiza, only thing is u will need to change is the tyres, to the profile of ur ibiza as leon profile is different so they will most likely rub if u dont, u could always fit them and see but in general the alloys themselves should fit

5x100 is the fitment, the MK1 Leon's have the same fitment as the MK4 Ibiza so they will fit.

However, depending on alloy size and tyre size of course.

Example I recently tried to put on some pre-facelift multispoke Leon Cupra wheels that are 16's, they fitted, but due to the tyre wall being about a million they didnt. As I have lowered the car rather alot, they scrubbed badly, and simply wouldnt go on.

I have 16's on at the moment, the standard wheels. But rather than being 205/55/16's like on the Cupra mine are 215/40/16's so fit nice

my mates car was a brand new 55 plate if that helps
just spoke to him as well and he said about getting an adapter that fits the fitted holes and has the right spaced holes for the alloys
any one know where to get them from

Is it the new style Leon? Could be either.

If so they won't fit.

The old style Leon has the same fitment as the Ibiza.

They will fit a MK4 Ibiza IF the alloys are from a MK1 Leon

You can buy 15mm adaptors to fit the new Leon wheels if not...

Scott H Mk4, you say your alloys are from a leon. Are they 18" or 17 ", if they are 18" what is the ride like and what size are the tyers?.

FK, Eibach, H&R all do 15mm adaptors.
