Can you hear the wind ??

Hi all,

Quick question... when you turn your heaters off can you all of a sudden hear the wind like its coming in through a hole its not supposed to be. (somewhere in the dashboard)

I'm driving a 2005 TDI FR 150 with the electronic heater controls if that makesa difference?

Any ideas what this could be ?

Yep, mine make a noise also. I'm not sure if it is the wind (at least for me) as sometimes you can hear it when sitting still, about as loud as you can hear it going at speed. Its not loud though, for me I need to have the stereo off, and the fan speed down to 1.

No mine is as soon as you turn the fans and heaters off so there is no display on teh screen. Its like the air is stopped from coming in through th enormal ducts (as you would expect as you have turned them off) but its finding its way in somewhere lese behind the dash

Is it loud? Or do you really have to listen for it?
