Hi guys

So I have a Leon Phev since may, and overall quite happy with it. In October I went to the local dealer (in Belgium) to get some software updated. I have the feeling now, since that visit to the garage, the car does the following while it didn't used to do that:

When the battery is on 1%, the engine works, but then the battery just charges while the gear is shifting between 2-3 (mostly). It's super random and super annoying, because the petrol consumption goes skyhigh because of that.. Im pretty sure it because of the software; I dont remember it being like that. It used to be 100% petrol usage, not charging while driving and good consumption.

Tried literally every setting possible: different Hybrid modes, in the electric settings,....

Im also getting this error during, see attachment. Any ideas?

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your issues outside of contacting your dealer, but just curious if you've tried to charge the drive battery to 100% by plugging it in for approx 5 hours?
If so, did the same issues arise? Same display message?
Does the symbol in your pic show the auxiliary 12v battery which gets charged while plugged in charging the main high voltage drive battery?

Thanks for the the response! I've tried fully charging the battery a lot of times; it's been various times on charging to 100% since October.

The weird thing is, that I have the feeling that the charging also happens when the battery is at 80% or so, so not even at 0% (then put Hybrid mode on: maintain current state of battery). Maybe its the seat warming that is requiring a lot of electric charge, still doesnt make sense that it charges so much when driving. Maybe it's just me and there's actually nothing wrong with it?

Im gonna send it to my dealer and meanwhile do some more testing myself

Does the seat heating not take power from the 12v auxiliary battery, rather than the drive battery? It does on my Outlander PHEV anyway ?

Glad you charge it, I certainly will when I get mine. Many phev owners don't as bought/used on petrol only as a tax dodge due to company paying all fuel used! Had originally thought perhaps you were in that category lol.

Good luck & please share your testing results and the dealer response
