I’m having an issue where my car isn’t starting properly. Twice I’ve had an error message about the start stop system (will update thread when I’m quick enough to take a pic of it).

But basically when I put my foot on the brake and press the engine button, the car is trying to tick over but won’t start. The only way it’ll start is if I hold down the engine button.

Just another thing to add to the long line of issues with this car, but wondered if anyone has experienced this before it goes back to the dealer for the umpteenth time.

I've had the "Start/Stop Error", along with "Drive System Error, visit workshop", but havent had any issues starting the car.

What engine and year do you have? Mines a 2020 1.5 eTSI

DSG 2020 1.0 eTSI. It went in for a recall recently to update the software, and it’s been even worse than normal since they’ve had it.
Lost functionality with car play, Sat nav, pops and noises from the speakers, random error messages and now doesn’t start properly!

Mines only being getting the error since it went in for updates about a month ago

Sounds like another questionable software update from SEAT
