Im after some aerosol paint for my car as need to do a little repair work, but the problem is i cant seem to find the right paint for my car.

Ive got the blueish/silver looking paint, its glacier blue from what i can gather (paint code LS5T) but i had some made up at halfords and it seems completly wrong, anyone know where you can get it from or the paint code at halfords?

seat dont do aerosol spray supposedly.

I've the same colour as you, I had a slight issue getting hold of paint for it.

Technically it's not Glacier Blue, that's just the name SEAT gave it in the brochures when new! However, all the paint shops recognise it as Azul Polar Metallic (LS5T).

I used a company called Colourtone to get the correct paint. They have a shop in Manchester and another in Stockport, although they both may be a bit far for you!

When My Ibiza got repaired a local Paint Supplier Mixed the paint & it was spot on. Azul Blue as mention S5T H8 is the codes I supplied them.

Ive been reading up on colour matched paint recently and not many have a good word for halfords paint as it never seems to match.

And the Saga continutes...

Ive found the paint (Azul Polor) but ive been to 3 halfords today, first one got a women who asked me to come back 4 hours later, which is no good as i had work, but 4 hours for a 10 minute job?

Second one didnt have one of the colours needed and the next one got half way through mixing and ran out of one colour, not having much luck it seems

Get yourself to a proper paint maker, As those monkey boys probably can't mix it to the right colour!

I had Halfords mix up a couple of tins when I was sorting out my old MK4 golf, and it wasn't matched nicely also found their paint very thin. I've tried them again since, and same ....

I've always had a quality service from paints4u.com they seem pretty knowledgeable if you've got any queries as well.

I can't personally recommend any, as I'm not familiar with anyone/anything in the area, however I came across Staffordshire Car Colours Ltd using Google; their website looks promising.

No idea if they are all that local to you though.

Went to staffordshire car colours this morning, i must have drove past it 50 times and never noticed, the bloke said there are a few shades of the car, so the bloke came and matched his colour tab to the car and the paint is pretty much spot on now, cheaper than halfords to.

So yeah a good company.
