Car squeaks when I put the handbrake on

So I’ve noticed today that when I apply the handbrake it squeaks, also does it when the handbrake is applied and I jump up and down in my seat, due to the weather?

SEATS squeak (just like FIATS).

It's so you know they're still alive (according to my local mechanic).

I put the heater on instead of jumping up and down

Could be the linkage at the rear. Maybe wants a hose on them to clear the salt and crud?
