I second this! Would like to do mine, not sure if I can cover them holes between the heater controls & the cd player?

Cheers.

i have been thinking about doing mine at the weekend,f i do it i will post up but it really is an if i do it as i have a lot of other bits to sort out this weekend
oh and no, dont cover the holes, cut out round them OR do what im going to do...

Are you talking about real carbon or vinyl effect carbon ?
The vinyl suffs not too bad, you might just need a bit of super glue around the edges to prevent it peeling back around the ash tray.
Real carbon is a pain in the ass, I did mine last year and never got round to finishing it,
The main probelm with real carbon is it always wants to lay flat so trying to get it to follow very tight complex curves can be very difficult, it's also very expensive when it goes wrong.
If you intend to use real carbon and you've not used it before I suggest you start with something flat and simple first, it's nowhere near as easy as it looks on the videos.

i would pay good money for a gloss carbon wrap center console the standard black is sooo boring

i couldn't do it myself though :(

Hi, I've had a few days off work and carbon wrapped mine also the door handles.

to tell the truth it looks ok but not perfect the problem comes with the convex curves (the ones that curve inwards i think) anyway when you heat the wrap you have to stretch it to fit, not a problem abit of messing about heating it up and pushing it into the curves. the wrap will stick and will look good. What i have found now its in the car i have to keep pushing the film back to the curves as it has not stuck in the curved area very well.

I found it has stuck fine on flat surfaces and also the curves that aren't extreme

i'll post some pics later on today

Here we go just been out took a few pics
